Vaccine Requirements

Because the health & safety of dogs is our top priority, your pup must be current on Rabies, Distemper/Parvo (1-3yr) and an annual Bordetella.

  • If your dog has never received, or has lapsed on any of the above vaccinations, they must be vaccinated and wait seven (7) days prior to entering the ranch. No exceptions.

  • As a convenience for our beloved customers, we keep your dog's vaccination records on file. Feel free to email any new vaccinations to us (whether or not you have a booking) and we will update your pup's Canine Care-Profile. If you do, the next time you make a reservation the process will be faster.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. *How do I make a reservation?

  • Send an email to DevineTexasDogRanch@gmail.com with your requested dates. Attach a copy of your pup’s vaccination records.

  • If you cannot send the records, please ask your veterinarian to email it with your name and your pet’s name in the title of the email.

  • We will respond to your email and send you a Boarding Agreement. Please complete all fields so we can provide the best care to your beloved pup. Email the agreement back to us. As soon as we have your dog's vaccination records and the Boarding Agreement, we will email you a confirmation for your reservation.

  • *Your booking is not final until you receive a confirmation email from us.

2. What should I bring for my dog?

  • We accept one bed, blanket or towel, and one toy per dog.

  • Bring their food (but no raw meats), supplements/vitamins and medications. Perishable foods are kept refrigerated.

  • We provide bowls except slow-feeder bowls.

  • Just like sending a kid to summer camp, please write your dog’s first and last name on all food containers and any other item possible. (We cannot guarantee the return of items.)

3.  What should I do upon arrival at the ranch?

  • Please stay in your vehicle. Send us a text saying you arrived to pick-up or drop-off your pup. One of our Canine Caregivers will greet and guide you.

  • You may send the text around twenty (20) minutes prior to your arrival, which is especially helpful on weekends and holidays.

4. Should I acclimate my dog to the ranch prior to their stay?

  • At least one day of Daycare will make your pup feel more at home and comfortable with our Canine Caregivers, especially if your pup will be with us for an extended stay. All dogs love familiarity.

5. What will be my dog’s schedule?

  • If your dog is sociable, they will be assigned into a playgroup of dogs of their same size and personality. If your pup is asocial, they will still enjoy playtime with a Canine Caregiver but will not mingle with other dogs.

  • From 7am-11am and 2pm-6:30pm, your pup will socialize with their friends and Canine Caregivers in a play-yard. Between 11am-2pm, it's nap time.
    At 8:45
pm, everyone goes outside again before bedtime.

  • Feeding hours: Breakfast 7:30-8:30am. Lunch 11am-2pm (if requested). Dinner 4-5pm.

6. How will I know my dog is okay?

  • You will see your beautiful pup on our FaceBook page, or you'll receive a daily photo update via text, a "pupdate!"

7. Do you accept asocial and/or special needs dogs?

  • Asocial and special needs pups may be accepted after evaluation. We will make every effort to accommodate your pup. Please email us and describe what is needed for your dog. For some pups, extra charges may be necessary. For details, please see, "Special Accommodations". (Please note that we cannot accept females in season).

8. Do you offer first-responder, military or senior citizen discounts?

  • We sure do! When you email us, let us know that you qualify, and you will receive a fifteen percent (15%) discount!

9. How will I pay?

  • Upon check-out, one of our team members will assist you. We accept cash and card only. Tipping Canine Caregivers is appreciated but not obligatory.
